Little Swimmers was created in 1996. It is the creation of Gerald Little and Meric Tendrich. Both are graduates of Florida State University. Gerald received his degree in Early Childhood Development and Meric received his in Physical Educations. They are now firefighters with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department.
Alvaro Nuñez is a Florida International University graduate with a degree in Psychology. He is currently seeking his Ph.D. in Child Psychology. Alvaro has been part of the Little Swimmers' family since 1998 and has operated the Killian Palms location since 2005.
Little Swimmers' staff is Red Cross Certified and insured with a combined experience in teaching infants, children and adults of over 25 years. The staff consists of male and female instructors who are bilingual in Spanish and English. Little Swimmers schedule to your convenience. Operating hours are 9 AM to 7:30 PM Monday thru Friday. Our "Mommy and Me" and group programs are scheduled in the morning and evening to meet the schedules of working parents. Private lessons may be scheduled at anytime during our operating hours. Little Swimmers also offers lessons in the convenience of your home. In addition, we offer swim lessons for adults and children with special needs. We love to see everyone smiling and having fun in the water.
